About LARD
LARD is built for the bit of the day that gets forgotten first. The access issue. The late delivery. The instruction someone gave while everyone was already moving.
A paper diary can work if you stop and write everything down. Most sites don't give you that kind of time. LARD lets you talk, type and add photos while the work is happening, then turn those records into a daily report when the day is done.
Why it exists
Site records matter most when memories start to drift. Delays, safety notes, variation evidence and progress updates all need context. A photo on its own isn't enough. A voice note buried in your phone isn't much better. LARD keeps the note, photo and job day together.
The point isn't to add more admin. It's to stop the end-of-day write-up from becoming a guessing game. If something comes back later, you've got a record you can stand behind.
Who it's for
LARD is for site supervisors, foremen, subbies and project managers who need a cleaner trail without dragging the job into another bloated system. It's made for real site conditions: patchy reception, noise, gloves, interruptions and all the little details that disappear by knockoff.
Where it's at
LARD is in private Android beta. We're keeping the first release focused: site records in, daily report out. No pretend all-in-one construction suite. No made-up ratings. No fake office address for schema points. Just the useful bit, done properly.
